Why is air circulation under solar panels important?
It is an important factor in terms of energy efficiency, but removing it from too much roofing increases its effect in the wind.
For the correct calculation method (EUROCODE) and choosing the right product, a region-specific height is preferred.
For a natural air circulation, it is sufficient to leave a space of 3 to 8 cm from the top of the roof covering.
The connection points specified by the solar panel manufacturer do not coincide, what should I do?
You can go to two different solutions for this situation.
- You can choose a different mounting system.
- You can request a special warranty from your solar panel manufacturer.
What happens if the connection points specified by the solar panel manufacturer do not coincide?

Is there any side spoiler effect in flat roof mounting system?
Thanks to the side spoilers, solar panels turn into a completely closed system and are less affected by the wind.
Thus, the amount of weight required to fix the system can be reduced to approximately %5.
Is the rear spoiler available in the flat roof mounting system?
Rear spoiler use is mandatory in our ISOFLAT S13 (southern system) mounting system. Wind tunnel test and required weight calculations are valid in these conditions. In the absence of a rear spoiler, the solar panel is exposed directly to the wind and high wind forces occur to lift the system more easily.
Why are weights less in the duplex system?
In our mounting system called ISOFLAT D13, the panels are placed in the configuration that we can call East-West direction or right and left. Thus, the panels protect each other against the wind. For this reason, our ISOFLAT D13 system requires much less weight than our ISOFLAT S13 system.
How is the system slipping and how is it prevented?
Wind has two effects on the solar panel, the first is the buoyant force, the second is the sliding force. Weights are used to withstand both forces. At the same time, special rubber material is used in order to create friction between the system and the roof surface, and the slip resistance of the system is increased.
How is water flow provided on flat roofs?
Although the flow of water is an important issue in flat roofs, the roofs generally occur due to the natural slope of %1-3.
Special SBR rubber products used under ISOFLAT rails are offered at different heights and do not prevent water flow.
How many meters can you install in your ballast systems?
Up to 25m ISOFLAT S13 and ISOFLAT D13 systems can be fixed using weight.
In higher structures, installation can be made by special fixing method.
Can the distance between the panels change in your flat roof solutions?
Gaps between panels are fixed in ISOFLAT D13 mounting system.
In the ISOFLAT S13 series, 50 cm, 60 cm, 70 cm and 80 cm spaces between 4 different panels can be preferred.
Does the parapet on the roof change anything?
The presence of parapet on the roof is effective according to the height of the parapet.
For this reason, parapets are taken into account when calculating the weight in flat roof systems.
Is the height of the panels above the ground important?
The closer the panels are to the floor, the more aerodynamic the system is.
The fact that the panels are higher than the ground poses a risk because they will be exposed to more winds.
What is a wind tunnel test? What does it do?
Wind Tunnel Test is the test performed to determine the behavior of any structure under wind loads. In any flat roof mounting system, by any regulation, how much wind load is applied to the solar panel. it is not specified. For this reason, wind tunnel testing should be done to design a flat roof mounting system.
Does the hair covered sandwich panel or sheet trapezoidal roof carry the GES to be installed?
If the datasheet of your sandwich panel or trapezoidal sheet roofing to be installed is in your hand, it can be examined how much load resistance it provides to m2.
If all the loads coming in the position of the roof are calculated, how much load is detected on m2 and if the load that it can carry does not exceed, we can install it on your roof, otherwise you may be in a state of fixing to the lovers.
What are the advantages of using part profile instead of length profile?
Length profile prevents the temperature to stay between the rails in use and therefore air circulation.
Air circulation is more effective than part profile in the use of part profiles, but it also offers the advantage of energy production.
At the same time, approximately is more economical compared to the part profile length profile.

What should the roof be like for solar panels?
When installing solar panels, special attention should be paid to slope and shading for maximum efficiency. In Turkey conditions, the system should ideally be installed with a slope between 15 and 30 degrees, depending on the characteristics of your roof. Choosing the correct slope is a critical factor to maximize the performance of the panel.
How are solar panels placed?
In the northern hemisphere, for example in Turkey, solar panels are positioned towards the south to ensure best performance. However, in the southern hemisphere, these panels are placed towards the north, thus creating the most efficient energy collection conditions.
What should be considered when buying solar panels?
Many factors are decisive in choosing a solar panel: wattage of the panel, dimensions, brand value, quality of the material used, warranty period and certificates. However, among all these criteria, it is essential not to ignore the price element that determines the limits of your budget. Because, no matter how superior its features, a panel that does not suit your budget will be of limited benefit to you.
What should be the roof slope for solar panels?
In summer, it is recommended that your solar panels be positioned with an inclination of approximately 15 degrees to achieve optimum efficiency. In spring and autumn, this slope should be approximately 30 degrees. During the winter months, it is recommended that the panels be positioned at a 45-degree inclination to reduce snow accumulation and capture the best sunlight.
Which is the best solar panel?
Monocrystalline solar panels attract attention with their high efficiency rates. The superior energy conversion capacity provided by these panels allows them to save space. In addition, they are one of the frequently preferred energy solutions thanks to their durable and long-lasting structures.
Can solar panels be washed?
Solar panels have the capacity to convert sunlight into electrical energy. However, dust and dirt accumulated on the surface of these panels can reduce this conversion efficiency. In addition, there is a risk of contact with high voltage while cleaning the panels. To eliminate such risks, it is recommended to use non-conductive deionized pure water for cleaning the panels. This method both increases panel efficiency and plays an effective role in ensuring occupational safety.
What should be the slope of a flat roof?
Flat roofs are especially preferred in buildings where low-slope roofs are common. Although there is no precise information about flat roof slopes in the German Building Code, the Flat Roof Directive recommends a slope of at least two percent or 1.1 degrees for such roofs. However, the ideal slope rate is stated as five percent or 2.9 degrees.
